Overview
Reducing Fund Loss Incidents (FLI’s) is a top priority for MetaMask. Making transactions easier to understand, and protecting users from phishing and other hacks, is made possible through the Snaps transaction insights API. Snaps can thus hook into the pre-transaction workflow and provide transaction decoding and other information to better inform users about potentially risky transactions.

Best Practices for Proposals
- Must be open-source
- Must undergo a security audit
- Free to use (or availability of a free tier in pricing model, if relevant)
- Teams should have a reasonable timeline in when they expect their project to hit the market (please include a roadmap in your proposal). We are running RFPs in one-month increments, and our grant program is operating with quarterly goals and key objectives
